Dr. Cindy
 Dr. Cindy graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry in 2006 after completing her undergraduate studies at Pacific Union College. She is passionate about the study of dentistry and patient care. Each year, Dr. Cindy attends many continuing education courses to stay on top of the latest technology, procedures, and trends in dentistry so that she can bring her patients the best that the field has to offer.
A gentle touch and thorough patient education are keys to Dr. Cindy's success. She believes that the more patients know about their oral health, the better equipped they will be to care for their smiles. With every patient, Dr. Cindy takes time to discuss goals, concerns, and solutions.
Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her puppy, Tobey, and helping the community through her local church.

 Amy Uy
As the Smiles Artistry Dental Office Manager, Amy is responsible for providing patients with utmost professionalism in her daily interaction of scheduling, billing, finances and overall patient concierge service. If there is anything you need, Amy can be counted on to attend to your needs with humility and true compassion; as a mother, she naturally thinks to “take care” of those around her.
Educated with a B.S. in Business Administration , Mrs. Uy has managed the Dental office of her husband - Dr. Bruce Uy - from 1981 to 2003. As a true professional she has grown alongside the dental industry: working with conventional dental technology and office management of the past two decades to the more modern, highly-technical and computerized Dental practice of today.
With continued education in Sales and Hygiene management, she is inspired to provide patients with the means to a better smile. Her years of dedication to the Dental industry and Dental practice management are a testament to the personal drive she brings to the Smiles Artistry office. Her steadfast nature is a valued asset we hope to never loose. Amy is married to the semi-retired Dr. Uy, D.M.D. with one daughter, age 16. |
Monica Tessandore
Monica is a multi-talented Dental Assistant, lets just say she is relied on to be our in-house expert, she is a Dental Assistant – but often she steps right into the office management responsibilities at a moments notice. One word: dedicated – best describes this team player - with a get-it-done-right mentality. Monica is also a bilingual dynamo, available to translate for our Spanish-speaking guests.
She has been in the Dental Field for over ten years, originally educated at Indio ROP and in the coming year will be taking courses to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Monica enjoys being part of an industry that changes lives in just a few visits – as she once stated “it is such an important factor in obtaining great health, a great smile, and can literally change the character of a face.” She announces “My work is like a vacation – in this spa-like atmosphere with a soothing and comfortable feeling to it, it is nice to come to work here.” Monica draws her strength and devotion to her fellow man from being a member of United Pentecostal Church in Desert Hot Springs, California.
Mrs. Tessandore is married with six children: three boys, ages six, nine and eighteen; and three girls, ages one, twelve, and seventeen. |
